Agenda:
- Participation in AETA2024 and ICGHIT 2025 Conferences
- Collaboration on vocational training programs and project development in Dak Nong Province
- Support for student exchange programs between Korean universities and TDTU
- Participation in AETA2024 and ICGHIT 2025 Conferences:
- AETA2024 will be held from November 7 to 8, 2024, in the Czech Republic. TS. Trần Thanh Phương suggested that rather than attending the conference in person, it would be more feasible to submit papers to AETA2024 and focus on participating in ICGHIT 2025, which will be held from January 15 to 17, 2025, at TDTU’s Nha Trang campus.
- Kim Do Kyong agreed and mentioned attending the UNISON company’s product briefing in Seoul on September 26 to promote the ICGHIT 2025 conference while discussing VK Energy’s wind power project in Vietnam.
- Collaboration on Vocational Training Programs and Project Development in Dak Nong Province:
- Kim Do Kyong proposed collaboration with Dak Nong Community College to develop smart farm education programs, integrating agriculture, tourism, and information technology.
- Further discussions included the possibility of operating TDTU’s education programs in Gia Nghia City, with details to be proposed later.
- Kim also suggested leveraging TDTU’s big data and AI capabilities for collaboration on ongoing projects related to climate change, agriculture, and tourism in Dak Nong Province.
- Support for Student Exchange Programs between Korean Universities and TDTU:
- Dr. Phuong mentioned the upcoming international education forum at Kyungwoon University on October 1 and expressed a desire to maintain cooperation with Kyungwoon University while requesting assistance in promoting programs where Korean students could come to TDTU for their education.
- Kim Do Kyong agreed to propose student exchange programs between TDTU and various Korean universities during his visits to these institutions and suggested organizing online meetings if needed to further discuss details.
- Kim also proposed a collaborative student exchange program between VTHR and TDTU to support Vietnamese students studying in Korea.
Conclusion:
The meeting covered plans for participation in the AETA2024 and ICGHIT 2025 conferences, collaboration on vocational training programs in Dak Nong Province, and various student exchange initiatives between Korean universities and TDTU.
