Introduction to APE

ASEAN Plus Expert (APE) is a specialized community within the GSF (Global Smart Future) platform that brings together experts from various fields to foster collaboration and innovation across ASEAN countries and beyond. The APE community is dedicated to addressing climate change, promoting sustainable development, and advancing technological innovation through knowledge sharing and cooperative efforts.

Expert Community

The APE community comprises professionals and specialists from a diverse range of sectors, including:

·       Information Technology (IT)

o   Members: IT professionals, software developers, data analysts

o   Focus: Implementing advanced IT solutions to enhance data management, climate modeling, and smart technologies for sustainable development.

·       Agriculture

o   Members: Agronomists, researchers, agricultural engineers

o   Focus: Developing sustainable agricultural practices, improving food security, and promoting eco-friendly farming techniques.

·       Environment

o   Members: Environmental scientists, ecologists, conservationists

o   Focus: Addressing environmental challenges, promoting conservation efforts, and developing strategies for climate change adaptation.

·       Tourism

o   Members: Tourism professionals, sustainability consultants, cultural heritage experts

o   Focus: Promoting sustainable tourism practices, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing eco-tourism opportunities.
