    Meeting Minutes

    Date: September 23, 2024
    Location: Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU)
    Attendees:

    • Kim Do Kyong, Vice President, Korean Environmental Health and Welfare Association (KEHWA) and Coordinator for International Affairs, CWCA
    • Dr. Hồ Ngô Anh Đào, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, TDTU

    Agenda:

    1. Proposal for collaboration with FELS, TDTU on climate change and Blue Carbon projects
    2. Information sharing and participation in project development
    1. Proposal for collaboration with FELS, TDTU on climate change and Blue Carbon projects:
    • Kim Do Kyong introduced the climate change and Blue Carbon projects currently being developed as part of international cooperation between Korea and Vietnam. He proposed collaboration with TDTU’s Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety (FELS).
    • The project focuses on environmental collaboration, and Kim expressed the hope that FELS would participate by sharing information as the project progresses.
    1. Information sharing and participation in project development:
    • Kim expressed his desire for continued information sharing and hoped that FELS would actively participate in the project as it develops.
    • Dr. Hồ Ngô Anh Đào showed interest in the proposal and agreed to ongoing cooperation.

    Conclusion:
    The meeting discussed the possibility of collaboration between TDTU’s Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety (FELS) and the climate change and Blue Carbon projects being developed between Korea and Vietnam. Both parties agreed to continue sharing information and to expand their cooperation as the projects progress.
