    Attendees:

    Agenda:

    1. Development of the Blue Carbon Project at Ta Dung National Park, Dak Nong Province
    2. Development of the Medicinal Plant Project in Nam Nung Conservation Area
    3. Discussion on Bilateral Cooperation
    1. Development of the Blue Carbon Project at Ta Dung National Park:
    • Kim Do Kyong introduced the Blue Carbon Project at Ta Dung National Park in Dak Nong Province as part of an integrated project involving agriculture, tourism, and information technology. The project requires substantial funding and must be carried out in phases, including a feasibility study and the main project phase, with financial support needed.
    1. Development of the Medicinal Plant Project in Nam Nung Conservation Area:
    • The Medicinal Plant Cultivation and Commercialization Project in Nam Nung Conservation Area is considered a lower-cost project that can be implemented by the involved parties, including TDTU’s Faculty of Pharmacy, Chuncheon Bioindustry Foundation, and Dalat University.
    1. Discussion on Bilateral Cooperation:
    • Kim Do Kyong explained the collaborative plan between TDTU’s Faculty of Pharmacy, Chuncheon Bioindustry Foundation, and Dalat University and proposed that detailed project proposals be developed through future discussions among the partners.
    • Both sides agreed that large-scale projects like Blue Carbon require close cooperation between partners at each stage, and the main coordinating body in Dak Nong Province may contact TDTU’s Faculty of Pharmacy directly if necessary.
    • Kim also mentioned that he would meet with Chuncheon Bioindustry Foundation in Korea to propose project development and share the outcomes of their discussions afterward.

    Conclusion:
    The meeting discussed the cooperative plan for developing the Blue Carbon Project in Dak Nong Province and the medicinal plant project in Nam Nung Conservation Area. Both parties agreed to continue sharing information and collaborating to ensure the effective implementation of these projects in each phase.
